Our first production under this new banner is Capitán Palomo, a documentary that doesn’t focus on the mezcal-making process, but rather on the soul of the man behind the bottle. Carlos Méndez is no ordinary figure. He stands at a crossroads between what he once tried to leave behind and what he now feels called to reclaim.
From the very first treatment, director Juan Pablo Elorriaga made one thing clear: this would not be just another mezcal documentary. It would be a personal story—powerful, complex, and deeply human.
