The Mezcals — Now in Audio (Kind of)

It started with a suggestion we didn’t take seriously.

Alejandro Rivon — our web guy and resident tinkerer — sent us a link to a new AI tool from Google. “It can turn your story into a podcast,” he said. Not an audiobook. A conversation — voiced by two fictional hosts with strangely likeable voices.

We rolled our eyes.

But we tried it. And something happened. The voices didn’t just read The Mezcals. They talked about it. Like two old friends unraveling a myth. Like people who lived the tale and are trying to make sense of it now.

It wasn’t what we expected. But it worked.

So here it is — The Mezcals, reimagined in audio. A family saga of agave, memory, and loss, now told as if overheard at dusk, between two people trying to remember the truth.

AI has flooded the world with content no one asked for. This time, it gave us something that feels… worth listening to.

Try it. Not because it’s AI. Because it’s a good story, told well.
